Every visit, page by page
Open any visitor in Stickybeak and the whole visit is laid out: the pages in order, how long they stayed and how far down they read, the clicks and goals on the way, and the sale if there was one.
What an opened visit shows
- Every page in order, with time on each
- How far down each page was read, and where their screen stayed longest
- Nav clicks, goals and purchases at the moment they happened
- How they found you: source, referrer, campaign tags and ad clicks
- First visit or returning, their last visit and their other visits
- City, device, browser and network
- Whether they're a person or a likely bot, and why

A name and a face for everyone
Every visitor gets a generated name and face, like "peachy emu", so you can tell people apart in the list and on the globe. The same visitor keeps the same name each time they come back. It's made up from a random id, not from anything about the person.
Who's likely to buy
A visitor who hasn't bought yet shows how likely people like them are to buy compared with your average visitor, and what that's worth. It's worked out from your site's last 30 days, from how often people with the same channel, landing page, country and device bought, whether they've been before, and how many pages they've read.
Someone who already bought shows as a customer, with what they spent.
One row per visit
The visitor list shows one row per visit, newest first, with the path they took across the row. Look-alike visits within 15 minutes (the same pages, source, country, device and network) fold into one row with a count, so a burst of identical visits doesn't bury everyone else. Visits that converted are never folded.
Your own team's visits are left out on their own, and likely bots are marked.
Questions
Is this session recording?
No. Stickybeak doesn't record the screen, mouse movements, keystrokes or form contents. It records the pages someone viewed, how long and how far down, and the clicks and goals your site reports.
Does it work with the cookieless script?
Yes, within a visit. With the cookieless script a visitor can't be recognised on another day, so there's no history of their other visits.
Can I get visits through the API?
Yes. GET /visitors lists recent visits with their steps, and GET /visitors/:session returns one visit in full.
