Framer

Framer analytics with Stickybeak tracks live visitors, campaigns, goals and client-side page changes in about five minutes. It is a lighter alternative to Google Analytics for Framer sites.

Before you start

Custom code requires a paid Framer site plan.

Add the script

  1. Create the script

    Open project settings → Custom Code → Add Script. Name it Stickybeak.

  2. Paste and configure

    <script
      defer
      data-site="YOUR_SITE_ID"
      data-domain="example.com"
      src="https://app.usestickybeak.com/_cfw/s.js"
    ></script>

    Place it in the head on all pages and choose Once, then publish.

Check it's working

Custom code runs only on the published site, not the canvas or preview. Follow Check it's working.

Track goals

Use a thank-you path as a page-visit goal. For a button, add a React override under Assets → Code, then select it under Code Overrides:

import type { ComponentType } from "react";
export function signupGoal(Component: ComponentType<any>) {
  return (props: any) => <Component {...props} data-goal="signup" />;
}

See Custom goals.

Track purchases

Framer does not expose checkout values through Custom Code. Track the return page, or send amount, currency and order ID from your checkout through Revenue.

Page changes

Framer routes client-side. Stickybeak records each path automatically; keep the script set to Once.

If it isn't working

  • Publish before testing.
  • Use the domain configured in Stickybeak Settings.

See general troubleshooting.
