Ghost

Ghost analytics with Stickybeak tracks readers, campaigns, signup clicks and outbound links across Ghost(Pro) or self-hosted publications. It is a lighter alternative to Google Analytics for Ghost and takes about five minutes to add.

#Add the script

1. #Open Code injection

   Go to Settings → Advanced → Code injection → Site header.

2. #Paste and save

   Click Save; the change is live immediately.

#Check it's working

Visit the live publication, then follow Check it's working.

#Track goals

Ghost button cards cannot take attributes. Use an HTML card or theme template:

Portal opens as an overlay, so track the click. See Custom goals.

#Track purchases

Ghost Portal does not expose purchase values to the page script. Track the signup click; use Revenue only with a checkout that can send amount, currency and order ID.

• In a custom theme, confirm default.hbs includes {{ghost_head}} inside <head>.
