Medium analytics cannot include Stickybeak on stories or profiles, including custom-domain publications, because they do not accept custom JavaScript. For a lighter alternative to Google Analytics, track Medium referrals and UTM campaign visits on your own site.

There is no supported Medium install. Put Stickybeak on your own site and link to it from each story. Referrals can identify Medium when the browser passes them; UTM parameters such as ?utm_source=medium&utm_campaign=launch-post reliably separate stories. See UTM tags. For full analytics, publish on your own tracked blog first and cross-post to Medium.
