Mintlify
Mintlify analytics with Stickybeak tracks documentation visits and conversion links from one root JavaScript file. Add it in about five minutes.
Before you start
You need a Mintlify plan with custom CSS and JavaScript.
Add the script
Create the loader
Next to
docs.json, createstickybeak.js:(function () { var s = document.createElement("script"); s.defer = true; s.setAttribute("data-site", "YOUR_SITE_ID"); s.setAttribute("data-domain", "example.com"); s.src = "https://app.usestickybeak.com/_cfw/s.js"; document.head.appendChild(s); })();Deploy
Commit and push. Mintlify runs root
.jsfiles on every page.
Check it's working
mint dev runs on localhost and is ignored. Test deployed docs using Check it's working.
Track goals
Add data-goal to an MDX link:
<a href="https://app.example.com/signup" data-goal="docs_signup">Create an account</a>See Custom goals.
Track purchases
Mintlify exposes no purchase data. Track the checkout link, or send amount, currency and order ID from the checkout with Revenue.
Page changes
Mintlify routes client-side. Stickybeak records page changes automatically.
If it isn't working
- Keep
stickybeak.jsbesidedocs.json. - Do not paste a script tag into an MDX page.
