Notion sites (Super, Potion, Notion Sites)
Notion sites analytics with Stickybeak works through Super or Potion in a few minutes, while native Notion Sites cannot run custom scripts. It is a lighter alternative to Google Analytics for supported Notion publishers, with live visitors and goals.
Super custom code needs a Personal or Pro plan. Potion also needs a plan with custom scripts.
Add the script
Choose your publisher
In Super, open the site editor (cog), then Code → Head. In Potion, open the site's settings and choose custom code for the head.
Paste and save
<script defer data-site="YOUR_SITE_ID" data-domain="example.com" src="https://app.usestickybeak.com/_cfw/s.js" ></script>Use the live domain added in Stickybeak Settings. Super rebuilds the site after saving.
Notion Sites only accepts a Google Analytics ID under Share → Publish → Site customization. Use Super or Potion if you need Stickybeak.
Check it's working
Open the live site, not its preview address, in a private window. Then follow Verify your install.
Track goals
Notion blocks cannot carry custom attributes. In Stickybeak, use ⚙ Settings → Goals → a page visit for paths such as /thank-you. See Custom goals.
Track purchases
A page-visit goal can count a tracked checkout thank-you page, but it has no amount. Sending revenue needs checkout code that provides revenue, currency and order_id. See Revenue.
Page changes
Super changes pages without full reloads. Stickybeak records those route changes automatically.
If it isn't working
- Confirm your plan allows scripts and your saved domain matches the live site.
- Native Notion Sites cannot load Stickybeak.
